Perfect lil old school cafe! Great value and we were in a hurry to go to South Ridge we were in and ate 22 minutes flat. And you can't beat the owner she's the BEST!

Excellent comfort food. Something for almost everyone on the menu. The Coconut Cream Pie was phenomenal! I highly recommend it. Update 4/6/2025: second visit was just as good as the first. Coconut Cream Pie was still the best I've had. Meal was good too. French fries are delicious. Worth the stop!

This place has always been great since I started going 8 years ago. Now here's the thing, the waitress that helped us is more than likely going to see this and all I want to say is you did an amazing job! Nothing you served us was horrible and I would still come back even if it was just because the atmosphere is amazing! I took a buddy of mine out on a Sunday morning to this place during a small road trip. We get there and it is BOOMING!! Love seeing that in a small Cafe. Waitress came over as soon as we sat down and took our drink order, didn't take long to get the drinks over to us. She took our order and was on her way to get the ticket in. Now mind you, I DID order a decent size breakfast. I ordered the Truckers breakfast. I think it was either a 6 or 8 oz steak with eggs, hashbrowns and toast so I KNEW it was going to take a bit. This is the 1st time, EVER, in my 8 years of going have I ever waited that long. About an hour for our food. Honestly, not a deal breaker! Food was absolutely amazing staff was running around trying their best to keep up with the hoards of people coming in and out, you all did phenomenal!! Were you worried about my hashbrowns being cold and undercooked, yes! You were! You CARED about my experience and that's what truly mattered, you let us know that you'd be more than happy to take them back and make us new ones. Were they undercooked and a little cold, yes BUT I didn't complain because I would rather them be a little cold than scorching hot and burn my taste buds for the rest of the meal. I let you know because you asked but I wasn't upset, not one bit. My belly was full, my friend and I were happy and soon again we will be stopping in for another meal!! Most definitely! Keep up the good work everyone! Never change your awesome atmosphere and we will be seeing you guys again soon!

Even if it’s just for pie, I always am happy to stop here! There is a rotating pie selection and they are always delicious.

The Cafe has a touch of nostalgia. They're known for their Chicken Fried Steak, which is excellent. Home made cookies, cakes and pies. The lounge is bathed in nostalgia! Tuesday 5.99 burger special, Friday all you can eat Sysco fried fish. Liquor store carries Hamms & Schmidt 30 racks for 19.99 as well as your more standard domestics.

If you like home cooked meals and a small diner atmosphere, this place is the best. Food is delicious, and you get a nice portion. Perfect stop when you're going back and forth to Duluth.

Always love a classic diner style experience, with delicious food & great service. We devoured the country fried steak & a bacon & cheese skillet. I wish I would have grabbed a Caramel roll to go!

My family loves this place. I have no idea about ownership, but it has a feeling of old Mom's and Pap's cafe. Food is excellent, staff is friendly and beside that you get a picturesque drive if you are coming from Duluth. Our number one stop for breakfast!
